New Fraud Learning Resource
Benefits fraud has real consequences that can put health benefits plan sustainability at risk. By ensuring that more people understand this, we can reduce associated costs and protect benefits.
To help educate others, the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association (CLHIA), in partnership with member companies, has launched Protect Your Benefits. This online resource offers education around the insurance landscape, benefits fraud and the proper and improper use of incentives in insurance.
Users take a baseline assessment before being introduced to various learning modules. When complete, individuals receive a customizable certification of completion.
