After joining the program through our platform partner, Referral Rock, you’ll receive a unique referral link. All you need to join the program is your email address – you won’t need to create a password to revisit your member dashboard. Members can share your link with personal contacts, inviting them to apply for a personal health plan. If one of your referrals chooses to purchase a plan, both you and the person you refer will earn a $50 gift card.*
Members can login to your personal Member Portal to join the Member Referral Program. After logging in, scroll to the bottom of the page to find the purple box. Use the ‘Refer Now!’ button to get started!
*The referred member must keep their plan active for at least 90 days before both parties become eligible for the reward. Terms and conditions apply.

You can always access your unique referral link by visiting your Member Dashboard. Login to your personal Member Portal and, scroll to the bottom of the page to find the purple box. Use the ‘Refer Now!’ button to login to your Member Dashboard (this works even if you’ve already created an account).

Terms and Conditions: Saskatchewan Blue Cross Member Referral Program

1. Program Overview
- The Member Referral Program (“MRP”) is designed to encourage existing Saskatchewan Blue Cross (“SBC”) members (“Referrers“) to refer new members (“Referred“) to apply for certain insurance products provided by SBC.
- The MRP is generally described at this link. (“MRP Website”). However, the MRP remains subject to these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and disclosures or other statements contained in any MRP-related materials (including those posted on the MRP Website), these Terms and Conditions shall prevail, govern and control to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- The MRP will be administered through the Referral Rock Platform (“RRP”), with Referrers and Referreds being subject to the terms of conditions of the RRP (those terms and conditions being available here: https://referralrock.com/tos/
2. Eligibility
- Referrers must be members of SBC and reside in Canada
- Referrers must be current and in compliance with their obligations and payments owed to SBC
- Referrers must be set up on the RRP so they have a unique RRP link
- Referreds must hold a valid Saskatchewan Health card
3. Referral Process
- Referrers must register through the RRP and be assigned a unique referral link.
- Referrers may share their link with personal contacts, including friends, family, and colleagues.
- The Referred must complete the submission page using the Referrer’s referral link, providing their name and email.
- The Referred must then submit a complete application for a Personal Health Plan, being either a Blue Choice, Conversion or Guaranteed Acceptance Plan. The application process is subject to standard underwriting processes and approval by SBC.
- Upon approval of the Referred’s application for insurance with SBC, the Referred must accept the insurance offer and activate their policy with SBC, maintaining it for a minimum of 3 months. For greater certainty, “maintaining” means that the Referred (i) follows all terms of the policy issued by SBC, and (ii) is current with all payments (including, without limitation, premium payments) owed to SBC.
4. Rewards
- Provided the requirements of the Referral Process (noted above) are met, both the Referrer and the Referred will receive a $50 CAD Visa gift card (“Reward”) after the Referred maintains their policy for 3 months.
- Rewards will be delivered via email through the RRP within 60 days of the 3-month anniversary of the Referred’s policy with SBC.
- Rewards are subject to the terms and conditions of Visa Gift Cards, as stated by Visa from time to time. SBC accepts no responsibility for changes to those Visa terms and conditions and recipients of Reward acknowledge that their Reward may be impacted by changes made by Visa to those terms and conditions.
5. Participant Obligations
- Both Referrers and Referreds (“Participants”) must ensure that all information provided during the referral process, or otherwise in connection with the MRP, is accurate and truthful.
- Referrers must not use spam or any form of unsolicited messages to promote their referral links.
6. Amendments
- The MRP, these Terms and Conditions, and any other terms, conditions, or policies concerning the MRP, may be amended at any time by SBC. Any such amendments will be posted on the MRP Website.
- For greater certainty, SBC reserves the right to adjust any of the dates, timeframes and/or other MRP mechanics stipulated in these Terms and Conditions, to the extent necessary, for purposes of verifying compliance by any Participant with these Terms and Conditions, or as a result of any technical or other problems, or in light of any other circumstances which, in the opinion of SBC, in its sole and absolute discretion, affect the proper administration of the MRP as contemplated in these Terms and Conditions, or for any other reason.
7. Disqualification
- SBC reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion to disqualify any individual from the MRP, and to ban that individual from any future participation in the MRP (or any other program offered by SBC) if SBC finds or believes such individual to be (i) tampering with the MRP process or the operation of the MRP, (ii) acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions, or (iii) annoying, abusing, threatening or harassing any other person in connection with the MRP.
- In the event of any disqualification of an individual by SBC, that individual is no longer eligible for receipt of any Rewards (or any other incentives related to the MRP), regardless of whether, prior to the disqualification, the individual has been a Referred or Referrer.
8. Data Collection
- Insured is collecting personal data about both Referrers and Referreds for the purpose of administering the MRP and may share this information with parties retained by SBC in connection with the administration of the MRP (including, without limitation, the administrators of the RRP). Referreds may be contacted by SBC’s Sales team for the purpose of following up on an unsubmitted application. Referreds may receive a emailed marketing communications for a period of six months following their completion of the submission page. No further informational or marketing communications will be received by Participants, unless a Participant has specifically opted-in to receive such communications. SBC respects your right to privacy of your personal information. Please review Saskatchewan Blue Cross’ Privacy Policy at https://www.sk.bluecross.ca/legal/privacy/ for details on the manner in which SBC collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise manages your personal information.
9. General Legal Terms
- The MRP and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
- The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Contest rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.
- SBC and its’ respective officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, and successors (“SBC Representatives”) are not responsible for, and will not be held liable for: (i) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by the MRP Website, the RRP, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the MRP or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of Participants; (ii) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or delay in operation of the MRP or any transmission in connection with the MRP, (iii) any communications line failure, theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, (iv) any problems with, or technical malfunction of, any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or failure of email which may occur for any reason whatsoever, including technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof, (v) any injury or damage to Participant’s or to any other person’s computer or other device related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials related to the MRP. If the MRP is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause of any nature whatsoever beyond the reasonable control of the SBC Representatives which corrupt or affect the administration, security or proper conduct of the MRP, SBC reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion to, without advance notice, terminate or suspend the contest, in whole or in part, or modify it in any way..
- The SBC Representatives accept no responsibility for loss, damage or claims caused by the Rewards or the MRP. By participating in the MRP, any Participant releases and holds harmless the SBC Representatives from all liability for any injuries, loss or damage or of any kind arising from or in connection with the MRP or any Reward won.
- ANY ATTEMPT BY AN PARTICIPANT OR ANY OTHER PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE MRP WEBSITE, SBC’S WEBSITE, OR THE RRP) OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE MRP IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SBC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
