Rate changes for 2025

As a result of several influencing factors, notably the upward trend in the cost of medical care and emergency services across the globe as well as exchange rate fluctuations, the following Emergency Medical Care plans will be subject to a rate increases as of February 22, 2025:

  • Single-trip plan
  • Annual plan/multi-trip plan
  • Package Plus (single and annual)

No transition rules apply to this change. We will be unable to honour existing quotes. All changes will be effective Feb. 22, 2025.

New rates will vary on plan, client age and trip duration. There are no rate changes to Emergency Medical Care in Canada and Trip Cancellation or Interruption coverages.

Medical Questionnaire changes:

Effective Feb. 22, 2025, the optional Medical Questionnaire (MQ) will no longer be available to clients with a medical exclusion. Pending MQs will be reviewed, with previously approved MQs remaining valid for a 12-month period from approval date.
